...with Portage County Tavern League
 
The Tavern League of Portage County has been working with the Coalition on a Breathalyzer Pilot to help customers make an informed decision about whether to drive. At Partner's Pub, a lot of our customers like the idea of testing their blood alcohol content and most who are over choose not to drive.

Coalition Breathalyzer Pilot
Several area taverns took part in a pilot Breathalyzer program in 2007. Individuals tested their Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) and make an informed decision about whether they should drive. Results are encouraging.
 
 
In 2007, 250 voluntary tests were taken.
72% of participants tested over the legal limit of .08%
73% of those over the limit chose not to drive.
